The Stamper's Den

(1100 Main St, Highfield Square, Moncton, www.picturetrail.com/stampinmazie)

has an amazing selection of stamping and scrap-booking supplies. The seemingly small store is stocked with Cuttlebug and Spellbinders die cuts, as well as assorted wooden, cling mount, and plastic stamps, plus fun craft products such as Flower Soft, Fun Flock, and Twinkling H20's. The Stamper's Den hosts classes on Quilling, which store owner Mae Cormier explains as "an old craft ... you take paper, roll it, and pinch it into different shapes; you can make flowers, animals, just about anything." The Stamper's Den also offers binding services and Bind It All products for creating your own scrapbooks, albums, and journals. This spring Cormier also plans on holding a Pug Rescue Fundraiser; she encourages shoppers to check out the handcrafted cards selling to support animal rescue. Shoppers, be sure to check out the sales: Spellbinder's Pendants are 25% off, and Co-ordination Cardstock is 40% off.

East Side Board Supply

(1381 Regent Street, Regent Mall, Fredericton, www.eastsideboardsupply.ca)

is all about colourful spring fashions. Store Manager Brenton Garnum explains: "The spring fashion colours are amazing, pinks and ... not your typical brown and blacks for neutrals, but rust reds and olives." East Side specializes in excellent boards, the most dazzling skate shoes, and apparel brands like Etnies, Chocolate, Roxy, Osiris, Supra, and DC. Garnum adds, "We're skateboarders, so we're going to order the coolest shoes "¦ the guaranteed best price, too; you find something cheaper, we'll match it - or make it cheaper for you."

Dave Shoots, Bookseller

(40 Coburg St, Saint John, www.daveshootsbookseller.com)

specializes in antique and used hardcovers, non-fiction, and local history paperbacks. Store co-owner Wendy Matheson says: "We do try to concentrate on some of the rarer stuff, but we have an excellent selection of literature." Matheson adds, "I don't want people to be put off by the fact that we say they're rare, because that doesn't always mean expensive; our books start at six dollars, so you can come in with six bucks and get a book." Matheson describes the bookshop as "relaxed - we have a couch and a chair sitting in front of the fireplace to just sit and read for a little bit if you want." The bookstore also offers great online shopping services and can complete online orders for customers without internet access for a service fee of $5.00.
