Saint John Women In Trades & Technology Networking 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. New Brunswick Museum. Women who are currently in a career or taking training related to trades or technology are invited to join us for light refreshments and an opportunity to chat with other women in trades and technology. 632-6119.
There will be a Concert and Silent Auction beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Harbour View High School, Douglas Avenue; the event will raise funds to send the Harbour View Choral Ensemble on their 2009 tour of Italy. Performing in the concert will be the Harbour View Choral Ensemble, Harbour View Jazz Choir, Harbour View Stage Band, and other individual students and smaller ensembles. The Saint John Men's Chorus present their Spring into Summer Concert 8 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 668 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West. This 16-voice male vocal ensemble will be performing various styles of music from classics to popular. Tickets, $12, can be purchased from choir members or at the door.
There is a Fred Ross Tribute Gala starting at 6 p.m.at the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre. Come for an evening of art, music, dance, and auctions honouring celebrated Saint John artist Fred Ross. Fred Ross will be bestowed the Order of New Brunswick and one of his last major artworks, 'The Lady in Black' will be unveiled.
