A man arrested by the RCMP will remain in jail until his bail hearing

A man wanted by police has been arrested and is now in custody.
Shediac RCMP said on April 3 they were looking for a man wanted on an arrest warrant. Police said Ryan Justin Gallant, 31, of Shediac, was wanted on a warrant in relation to domestic violence charges stemming from a 2023 investigation.
They released his photos and description and asked the public to contact them if they see him.
On Wednesday, Gallant appeared in Moncton provincial court by phone from an RCMP detachment after being arrested. The Crown objected to his release and his bail hearing was set for Thursday.
