Fredericton Monday Night Film Series 09: The series presents limited release, independent foreign and Canadian films for one-night screenings, with the goal of diversifying local access to cinema. These films are new or recent releases, which would not otherwise be available to Fredericton audiences on the big screen. The film series is open to everyone. Regular admission is $7 per screening. Memberships are available that reduce admission price to $3 per screening Tonight?s Feature: Lemon Tree directed by Eran Riklis, starring Hiam Abbass, running time 106 minutes, Arabic, Hebrew, English.

Beaverbrook Art Gallery - The Beaverbrook Art Gallery presents Impressionist Masterworks from the National Gallery of Canada, an exhibition of ten masterworks, in recognition of the Gallery's 50th anniversary. Organized by the National Gallery of Canada, the exhibition will be on display from September 17 to January 4, 2010.

Gallery 78 - Gallery 78 is celebrating its 33rd anniversary with a group show: "THE EARLY YEARS". This exhibition features the work of select artists who exhibited at Gallery 78 in the early days at 78 Brunswick Street and includes well known names such as: Bruno Bobak, Molly Lamb Bobak, Marjory Donaldson, Anne Dunn, William Forrestall, Carol Fraser, Brigid Toole Grant, Pegi Nicol MacLeod, Stephen May, Dawn McCracken, David McKay, Joseph Plaskett, Stephen Scott and David Silverberg. Come help us celebrate our artists and the gallery. The show opens on Thursday, October 8th and will be on view until Sunday, November 1.
