The Peter Parkers - We Were All Born On A Burial Ground (Independent)

A21

From the manic, opening moments of Make Out Party, Moncton's Peter Parkers announce their arrival, owing more to the MC5 than to indie rock. The Parkers are a great band, equally fantastic turning in quiet, introspective tracks like Sleazy Soft, To Thomas and More Than What Your Ass Could Cash balancing those with the noisier moments like Hey! Richter Scale and Serpico's Gotta Go. Not all bands can pull off the loud/soft dynamics so well but the Peter Parkers are well versed at this art and have made a great new record that you should check out.

The Peter Parkers are celebrating the release of We Were All Born On A Burial Ground with a show at Moncton's Manhattan Bar and Grill on Friday July 4. Special guests for the show are The Sleepless Nights. Come out and show your support!
